Speaker wire for home Hi-Fi, car audio, stage, …

Connects audio speakers to your A/V receiver or amplifier.
The plastic jacket around the speaker wire helps deliver high-quality undistorted signals to and from all of your audio equipment.
One side of the wire is marked with a white or red line, making it quick and easy to distinguish the polarity for a proper audio system set up.
Comes wrapped around a hard paper, plastic or wooden spool, making dispensing convenient and easy.

Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) prevents EMI & RFI signal interference, ensuring the highest quality audio transmission.
Tin or Silver-plated OFC, various color and shape of wires are also available.

What Type of Wires Does A Speaker Use?

The speaker wire is designed to provide an electrical connection between loudspeakers and audio amplifiers.

The audio wire for speakers is constructed by two or more electrical conductors individually, which are insulated by plastic (such as PVC, PE or Teflon) or, less commonly, rubber.

Is Thicker Speaker Wire Better?

Generally speaking, the thick speaker wire has less resistance. The gauge between 12 to 16 gauge is the common speaker wire connector.

But, talking about the application, we don’t need to use the thickest speaker wire.

The 12 or 14 gauge speaker wire is recommended for long wire runs, high-power applications.

The 16 gauge speaker wire is suitable for relatively short runs (less than 50 feet) to 8-ohm speakers.
